Carbon foot print free hot water
In these times of rising fuel costs and people becoming more concious of the environment and their “carbon foot print” solar heating is a good option providing you with hot water heated by the sun. With modern panels and improved insulation you can even get 200-300L of water up to 40C on an overcast day. Even if your requirement is water at lets say 55C at least the first 40C has been done for you with no energy spent. On a sunny summers day you can easily exceed the recommended 60C giving you 200-300 even 400L of water (your tank size dependant) for baths,washing up etc and still enough for a hot shower in the morning.
